Low Risk Confined Spaces course –  City & Guilds 6160-01

Aimed at those that need to work in confined spaces that do not require the use of breathing apparatus.

Examples include meter pits, valve chambers, booster pumping stations and PRV chambers.

 

The courses use a combination of theory and practical training. At INFRATEC Training, the courses are conducted at our bespoke simulation centre, or our mobile training module.

 

Our instructors are rescue technicians who specialise in confined space operations, which means that you can enjoy high quality training from highly skilled and experienced staff.

  • A low risk confined space is defined as a space with shallow entry with adequate natural or mechanical ventilation where access is simple and unobstructed with no likely risk of flooding.

    • Anybody that might be required to work in a confined space including
    • Managers / Supervisors
    • Anybody that needs to enter the space in order to assess the work
    • Any one required to sign off on work conducted in these spaces.
