Personnel who enter or work in high-risk confined spaces as part of their role across water and non water industries such as utilities, construction, petrochemical, manufacturing and emergency services.
No formal qualifications are required, but candidates must be 16+ and medically fit for practical exercises.
Successful delegates receive the City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Working in High Risk Confined Spaces (6160-03).
Assessment includes:

Externally set written paper (pass mark 65 %)

Practical observation of safe entry, work and emergency procedures.
Legislative requirements and risk assessment

Safe systems of work and permits

Gas monitoring and atmospheric testing

Use of personal protective equipment (including breathing apparatus)

Emergency procedures and casualty recovery

Practical entry, exit and rescue scenarios.
Preferential rates for private or on site delivery anywhere in the UK

Flexible dates to fit operational requirements

Daily Schedule: 09:00 – 16:30 (approx.)
