Personnel who may be required to:

• Enter high-risk confined spaces wearing full working breathing apparatus

• Carry out emergency casualty recovery or basic first aid

• Assist in planned rescue operations

Typical attendees include on-site rescue teams, emergency response crews, and contractors working in utilities, construction, petrochemical and heavy-industry environments.

Successful candidates achieve the City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Working as a Member of a Rescue & Recovery Team in Confined Spaces (6160-08).
Assessment includes:

• Externally-set written examination (minimum 70 % pass mark)

• Practical observation of rescue and recovery procedures.

• Legal duties and emergency planning

• Safe use of full working breathing apparatus

• Communication and team-control methods

• Casualty handling and basic first aid

• Practical rescue scenarios using our confined-space simulator.

• Preferential rates for private or on-site delivery anywhere in the UK

Delegates must:

• Be physically fit to wear full breathing apparatus

• Hold the City & Guilds 6160-03 – Working in High-Risk Confined Spaces qualification.

• Daily Schedule: 09:00 – 16:30 (approx.)

• Morning, lunch and afternoon breaks included.
