Personnel required to enter, work in, or rescue from high-risk confined spaces

Emergency response or standby rescue teams

Contractors and supervisors in utilities, construction, petrochemical, manufacturing or similar high-risk environments.

Candidates must be 16+, medically fitand capable of wearing full breathing apparatus.
Successful learners gain two City & Guilds awards:

6160-03 – Level 2 Award in Working in High-Risk Confined Spaces

6160-08 – Level 3 Award in Working as a Member of a Rescue & Recovery Team in Confined Spaces

Assessment includes:

Externally-set written examinations (minimum 65–70 % pass marks)

Practical observation of entry, work and rescue procedures.
Confined Space Regulations and risk assessment

Safe systems of work, permits and emergency planning

Gas monitoring and atmospheric testing

Full working breathing apparatus, escape sets and communications

Rescue techniques: casualty handling, recovery and first aid

Realistic entry, exit and emergency rescue simulations.
Private or on-site delivery anywhere in the UK

Flexible scheduling to suit operational needs

Volume pricing for teams and repeat bookings.
Daily Schedule: 09:00 – 16:30 (approx.)

I found the training & the trainer himself, very useful. It met all my requirements which are needed & the lads on the course were very friendly. Overall, I have enjoyed my training & found it very helpful.
Tony who was training us made me feel very at ease & would encourage any one to be trained by him.
